- THREE-FOURTHS GUARANTEE: Workers will be offered employment for a total number of work hours equal to at
least three-fourths of the workdays of the total period that begins with the first workday after the arrival of the worker at the place of employment or the advertised contractual first date of need, whichever is later, and ends on the expiration date specified in the work contract or in its extensions, if any.
- Transportation and Subsistence: If the worker completes 50 percent of the work contract period, the employer will
provide, reimburse, or advance payment for the worker’s transportation and subsistence from the place of recruitment to the place of work. Upon completion of the work contract or where the worker is dismissed earlier, the employer will provide or pay for the worker’s reasonable costs of return transportation and subsistence back home or to the place the worker originally departed to work, except where the worker will not return due to subsequent employment with another employer or where the employer has appropriately reported a worker’s voluntary
abandonment of employment. The amount of transportation payment or reimbursement will be equal to the most economical and reasonable common carrier for the distances involved.

The FAA-certified Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic is responsible for supervising two (2) mechanic helpers while performing comprehensive inspection, maintenance, repair, overhaul, and preventive maintenance on a diverse fleet of piston and turboprop aircraft. Duties include diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling aircraft engines, airframes, and assemblies; maintaining, repairing, and rebuilding aircraft structures and functional systems such as wings, fuselage, rigging, hydraulic units, oxygen systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, gaskets, and seals; and conducting routine, 100-hour, annual, and special inspections in accordance with FAA regulations. The mechanic utilizes working knowledge of and strict compliance with aircraft manufacturer maintenance manuals, service bulletins, FAA airworthiness directives, and approved technical data to ensure continued airworthiness.
Responsibilities include troubleshooting complex mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical malfunctions; performing turboprop engine maintenance and inspections, including PT6A engine troubleshooting and hot section inspections; measuring components for wear using precision instruments; repairing or replacing defective or damaged parts using hand tools, gauges, and test equipment; testing engines and aircraft systems using ignition analyzers, compression testers, distributor timers, ammeters, and other diagnostic tools; assembling, installing, aligning, and securing electrical, plumbing, mechanical, hydraulic, and structural components; preparing repaired or replacement parts for riveting or welding; inspecting completed work to certify compliance with regulatory and operational standards; accurately documenting all maintenance actions in aircraft logbooks and maintenance release records; maintaining a clean, safe, and organized hangar environment; and adhering to all OSHA, FAA, and workplace safety protocols. The position supports multiple aircraft types including Cessna Caravans, King Airs, Gippsland Airvans, and Cessna 172 aircraft and requires a high level of technical expertise, attention to detail, integrity, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast- paced maintenance environment.
